Mermaid Universe Quarterly
Four issues a year, on paper, made to be kept. Each issue carries the stories and the trade in one cover: who is performing, what the work pays, who makes the tails, and what is coming next. The October 2026 edition is in production.
Single copies of the retail edition are printed and shipped by Lulu.
Order direct from us and the four centre pages are yours: you as a mermaid, from your own photos or in your own tail. Your own cover is an add-on.
If you work as a mermaid or run a shop, school or pod, order the standard edition at trade, one copy or in bulk, and sell it at your own events.
We publish interviews, short stories, photo features and first-hand accounts from the mermaid community. Anyone can submit. Members' pieces are more likely to be published, and we say so up front. Tick the box on the sign-up form and we will send you the submission details.
The Pearl Awards
The Pearl Awards give mermaids from Instagram, Reddit and the performing world a stage of their own. Nomination is free. Every nominee is printed in the January 2027 edition. The overall winner is on the retail cover, and each category winner has a feature page inside.
What each pearl honours will be announced when nominations open. Join the directory and you will hear first.
